Julia Gamache, LICSW, MLADC

Julia is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Licensed Masters Level Alcohol & Drug Counselor (MLADC) and has been working in the treatment field of Mental Health & Substance Use since 2005. Julia earned a bachelor’s degree in human services from Springfield College, and a master’s degree in clinical social work from Boston University.

Julia has extensive experience in treating, parenting concerns, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), grief and loss, substance use issues and co-occurring disorders. Julia uses a Client Centered, and Trauma Informed approach to join with clients in their journey towards recovery and wellness. Julia has many years of experience in applying Evidence Based Practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Narrative Therapy (NT). Julia is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and a certified provider of the Global Appraisal of Individual Needs (GAIN) Assessment which is recognized as the assessment of choice by the Federal and State Court System, Probation Departments, and both inpatient and outpatient treatment providers. Julia specializes in working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples offering both day and evening appointments Monday thru Friday.

James has extensive experience in treating general life stressors, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), grief and loss, substance use issues, and co-occurring disorders. James uses a Client-Centered, and Trauma Informed approach to join with clients in their journey towards recovery and wellness. James has many years of experience in applying Evidence-Based Practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy (NT), Behavioral Family Therapy (BFT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). James specializes in working with adults and families and offers evening-hour appointments.
